This year WIHG, Dehradun is organizing its renowned National Geo-Research Scholars Meet (NGRSM) on the theme “Geosciences in Jammu Himalaya” from 22-25 November 2024 at Shri Mata Vaishno Devi University, (SMVDU), Katra Campus, Jammu and Kashmir.
This prestigious national event will feature a series of lectures by researcher scholars on Geological & Geophysical advancements with special focus on Jammu Himalaya as well as oral presentations by students/fellows on their research on sub-disciplines related to Earth Sciences will also be organized. A two-day field visit to Jammu Sub-Himalayan field transect has also been planned for the research scholars during this meet.
This conference is an annual event of WIHG, whose main objective is to provide a unique platform to budding researchers for enriching their Geological research by sharing knowledge about state-of-the-art instrumentations & methods, knowledge pertaining to their research fields, and discussion sessions with the experts.
